Here it is, all the fine print...

Event Philosophy

The Waitlist 2024 is an all-ages, inclusive event where we want guests to experience a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. The event policies are in place to support that philosophy.

Rules

Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult aged 19+. One adult may accompany up to four other guests. All guests must be ticket holders.

Anyone entering the venue is subject to search which may include pat-downs, bag searches, and/or wand checks. To speed entry, guests are encouraged although not required to carry their belongings in clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags known as "stadium approved" bags. All pat-downs are performed by trained security personnel. The following are prohibited: alcohol, illegal drugs, weapons, sharp or dangerous items, or items that in the judgment of the staff may pose a hazard or diminish the enjoyment of the event by another guest.

The venue is a smoke free building.

Photography is permitted and will be occurring during the event. By attending, guests agree that they may be photographed or recorded (picture and voice) while in public spaces, and that the recordings may be projected onto a screen or place online or in print, or shared on social media. Attendees acknowledge that the organizer will own all property rights based on the use of a recording, and release the organizer from any claim of infringement on personal or property rights. While not obliged to do so, the organizer will consider any reasonable request not to use or to stop a recording.

Tickets

The Gala begins at 9pm, and there is no early entry except VIP ticket holders who enter at 8pm. Re-entry is permitted at the discretion of event staff.

Guests may present digital or printed tickets which can be scanned only once. In the event of a ticket discrepancy, the ticket holder will be asked to present confirmation of identity matching the registered purchase information. If the guest name(s) are TBD, you can register in the name of a primary guest; just let us know in the comment box, and we can follow up for details later.

Ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued except in the event of cancelation.

What's included

The Gala services are included with admission and include coat check, digital and printed photographs, unlimited non-alcoholic mocktail, soda, juice and water bar, Breakfast at Midnight buffet, glitter bar and/or airbrush services, and prize opportunities. Your ticket price is the price.

VIP ticket holders will receive early access to the venue for a private reception with live entertainment and gifts/swag.

Parking

There is free onsite parking, and additional overflow parking in the area. Event personnel will be present in the parking lot when the event concludes at 1am.

Accessibility

Michelangelo's is an accessible facility. While there are some limitations, guests with particular concerns or questions are warmly welcomed to contact us in advance so that we can accommodate specific needs.

Guest Services/Concierge

Staff will be visible on-site during the event, and are available to assist guests. Attendees may also contact Guest Services by text message during the event; information about Guest Services will be posted in the lobby.

Privacy

Your contact details will be used for the purpose of validating tickets and providing event-related information before and after the Gala. It will also be used to compile a list that may be used by event organizers or third parties to share communication that may appeal to attendees. If you do not want your details to be used for these purposes, please let the organizers know.

Liability

The organizer, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims or expenses whatsoever arising out of or referrable to the event. If someone is purchasing a ticket on behalf of another person, it is the responsibility of that person to notify the attendee of the terms and conditions of attending, for which they will be agreeing on behalf of the attendee. They will also be responsible for providing accurate attendee information.

Indemnity (now we're getting to the VERY fine print)

Should, for any reason outside the control of  the organizer, the venue or service providers/services change or the event be canceled, the organizer will attempt to reschedule. In this instance the ticket-holder will indemnify and hold the organizer harmless from and against all costs, damages and expenses. The organizer will not be liable in damages for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions, wars, insurrections, and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the organizer.
